Meet Brenda Ochoa, GPA's Coordinator Accompanying the Nich Ixim Midwife Movement of Chiapas

We are thrilled to welcome Brenda Ochoa to the GPA team as Operating Coordinator for Accompanying the Nich Ixim Midwives Movement of Chiapas!

Brenda brings extensive experience in human rights, migration, and sexual and reproductive health, including six years as Executive Director of the Fray Mathias de Cordova Human Rights Center in Tapachula, Mexico and work with Médicos del Mundo (Doctors of the World), supporting women's reproductive health. She holds a Bachelor of Medicine and a Master of Pedagogy with a specialization in the Evaluation of Health Programs and Policies, and brings a holistic, intersectional approach to her work with communities.
